Students will likely be professionals already working in some area of environmental science, management or policy. They will learn how to use Holistic Management as a systems thinking approach to the analysis and solution phases of complex problems involving natural and human resource management . This course goes beyond the undergraduate level by asking students to identify, analyze and report on current literature and real cases where Holistic Management and systems thinking are effective, and by conducting and reporting on independent field observations of natural and human resource management related to systems thinking and Holistic Management.
